A Meal Today Feeds a Graduate Tomorrow
For thousands of NOVA students—especially students who are the first in their families to attend college, working adults, parenting students and students from historically underserved communities—hunger is a daily obstacle to learning and persistence. When students worry about their next meal, they are more likely to struggle academically and less likely to graduate.
NOVA donors Robert Loser and Reva Savkar have offered a $50,000 challenge gift through the Prabha Gokhale & Hazel Loser “Annapoorna” Food Security Fund to support NOVA students facing food insecurity. Every dollar contributed will be matched dollar-for-dollar until we reach our $100,000 campaign goal.

What a joy to see a student come into our pantries and walk out with a couple of bags of food and other items they couldn't otherwise afford. Our pantries display the ongoing care we provide here at NOVA for our students and their families!” La’Tonia White, NOVA Director of Financial Stability and Advocacy |
Your gift will provide emergency food assistance, support campus food pantries, and ensure NOVA students have access to the resources they need year-round, starting with August 24, the first day of fall semester.
Make your gift today and double your impact.
Help us unlock the full $50,000 challenge and create a future where every student has the support they need to succeed.
